Modern Obsolete is a second-hand clothing platform that compiles listings from the most popular online marketplaces.
Andrew Sciaudone founded Modern Obsolete with a passion for the secondhand market that originated from his first eBay sale at the age of 14. The excitement of creating an account with PayPal, linking it to eBay, and listing his first item – a G-Shock watch – sparked a desire to repeat the process by searching for and selling items online. This passion for the process of buying and selling secondhand items continued to grow. The thrill of searching for the perfect item at the perfect price became a driving force for Andrew, and over the past decade he has dedicated himself to buying and selling a wide range of items, from clothing to USB drives. The satisfaction of finding a true deal, as well as recovering costs and frequently turning a profit, have motivated Andrew to continue to expand his business, Modern Obsolete.
Andrew's desire to bring excitement and satisfaction to the process of finding the perfect secondhand item at a great price led to the creation of Modern Obsolete. He founded the company with a deep-seated passion for the industry and a drive to share this enthusiasm with others. M.O. was built on this foundation of excitement and passion for the world of secondhand items.
